HP/Agilent 83480A Digital Communications AnalyzerThe Agilent 83480A digital communications analyzer family is a powerful and versatile instrument for waveform analysis in research, development, production, and evaluation testing throughout the telecommunications and datacommunications industries. The instrument has been designed to give you the highest accuracy, measurement speed, and ease-of-use for characterizing high-speed digital communications waveforms. The Agilent 83480A is a modular platform that accepts up to two plug-in modules. These modules are designed to meet your specific test needs. Integrated optical channels include calibrated reference receivers for 155, 622, 1063, 1250, 2488, and 9953 Mbit/s SDH/SONET, Fibre Channel, or Gbit Ethernet transmitter test. Electrical channels have up to 50 GHz bandwidths. TDR and TDT modules are available for optimization of circuit board transmission lines. Data acquisition and measurement analysis are performed in parallel, enabling the Agilent 83480A to achieve outstanding measurement throughput. The digital communications analyzer provides fast, repeatable communications waveform performance analysis with automated pulse and eye-diagram statistical measurements. Optical or electrical conformance tests to both user-defined and industry standard eye-diagram masks or pulse templates are easily executed. HP/Agilent 83480A Standard Accessories
